FSA 30 Cordless Grass Trimmer – AS System

Part of STIHL’s compact AS 10.8 V battery family, the FSA 30 combines petrol-free convenience with thoughtful ergonomics. A telescopic shaft extends 220 mm and the mowing head tilts 90°, letting you edge vertically along beds or reach under garden furniture; the flip-down spacer keeps blades clear of bark and fence panels. Tool-free Quick-Change lets you swap the standard PolyCut 3-2 blades for an optional AutoCut 3-2 bump-feed line head in seconds—handy when you move from coarse edging to fine trimming.

Run-time, noise & comfort

The supplied AS 2 battery delivers up to 19 minutes or roughly 45 m² of edging on one charge, and recharges to 80% in 55 minutes (100% in 70 minutes) with the compact AL 1 charger. Sound pressure is a neighbour-friendly 76 dB(A), while STIHL’s four-point damping keeps hand–arm vibration to just 1.5 / 1.9 m/s²—comfortably below daily-exposure limits. An LED fuel-gauge on the battery shows remaining charge at a glance.
