Built for mowing large expanses of tough grass, the FS 70 C-E combines a robust 2-MIX engine with STIHL’s manual fuel pump, reducing start-up strokes and speeding warm-up after breaks. A single-hand multi-function handle places throttle, stop switch and primer within easy thumb control for left- or right-handed use, while the stop button springs back for instant re-start after short breaks.

1) Without cutting tool and protection
With its blend of power, comfort and easy starting, the FS 70 C-E is ideal for homeowners or pros needing to clear medium-to-large lawns, edges and overgrowth quickly without fuel-mix hassles or heavy pull-cords.
With its 420 mm cutting width and around 35–40 min run-time per 0.33 L tank, the FS 70 C-E can trim approximately 600 m² of lawn in one go (actual coverage varies with grass density).
Use the manual fuel pump to prime the carburettor, then pull the cord smoothly thanks to ErgoStart—no sudden yanks needed for quick firing.
The kit includes an AutoCut C 26-2 nylon head for grass and a GrassCut 230-2 metal blade for tougher weeds and thin brush.
Simply tap the head tip on the ground while rotating—EasySpool™ advances fresh line in seconds without disassembly.
STIHL supplies its ADVANCE Universal double-shoulder harness for balanced weight distribution and reduced fatigue during extended mowing.
