The MSA 160 C-B brings professional build quality to homeowner and light-commercial tree work. A high-efficiency 1.2 kW EC motor drives the narrow-kerf ¼″ PM3 chain on a rigid 12″ Light 01 guide bar, giving clean, fast cuts through stems up to about 25 cm while staying 100 % emission-free and quiet enough for noise-sensitive zones.

With the recommended AP 300 S battery you can cut for roughly 62 minutes; an AP 200 gives about 42 minutes, while a backpack AR 3000 L stretches to around 300 minutes.
The saw ships with a 30 cm / 12″ Light 01 guide bar and a factory-fitted ¼″ PM3 low-kickback chain; a 14″ bar is optional.
Yes—STIHL Quick Chain Tensioning lets you adjust chain tension with a thumb-wheel, without loosening bar nuts or using a scrench.
The MSA 160 C-B and AP-System batteries are IPX4 splash-resistant, so light rain won’t harm them, though they should be dried before storage.
